Hot Shots is a frantic party game for 2–9 players at the same machine, and winner of the Intel App Innovation Contest "All in One" Platform, 2013. Inspired by Asteroids, Geometry Wars and Space War, in Hot Shots players are thrown into immediate chaos and calamity in a surreal space arena dominated by scorching hot celestial bodies. Players battle each other with gorgeous streams of projectiles, all the while being drawn to the hot core.
Uso degli strumenti/SDK Intel:
None, but I did find a few of their articles & instructions very handy. In particular making use of Win RT API on the desktop.

"The very idea of up to nine people around a table shooting each other at the same time (the scale and context is unusual)
Also, there is swearing detection & punishment, where the webcam's microphone listens for keywords and on recognition sends in the swear police to attack everybody."
Lacune/aree di miglioramento dell'applicazione:
Hot Shots is already in the Windows 8 Store for desktop machines. An RT Windows Store version will hopefully be out in the coming months. Since winning the Intel App Innovation Contest AIO Platform, I've founded a games development company, Null Ref Ltd. We're now mainly looking for talented artists to get in touch for upcoming projects.
