When an analysis result opens, a help snippet describing the current viewpoint opens automatically. It explains how you can use this information to make sure that the changes that you make to your code will have the maximum effect on the performance of your target.
To close the help snippet:
Click the close X button.
To open the help snippet:
Click the Image may be NSFW.

button at the viewpoint name in the result tab.
To disable/enable the automatic display of the help snippet:
Configure the Intel® VTune™ Amplifier to stop/start displaying the viewpoint description automatically when you open an analysis result. This is useful after you get familiar with different viewpoints.
- In Microsoft Visual Studio* (for VTune Amplifier XE only), go to the Tools > Options > Intel VTune Amplifier version> General pane. In the standalone interface, click the Image may be NSFW.

menu button and select Options... > Intel VTune Amplifier version> General. - Check/uncheck the Show the analysis description when the result opens box.
