Getting Help and Support

This topic explains the different options for accessing the Help documentation and technical support for Intel Inspector.

Getting Help

The documents provided with this release are available in HTML format. You can access the documentation in different ways:

  • From the Start menu, or Start screen, under the Intel Studio group.

  • Help> Intel Inspector <version>

  • Access context-sensitive Help on active GUI elements:

    • Help Icon Help: Right-click the help icon in the element title to get help for the active dialog box, property page, pane, or window.

    • Explain Problem Help: Right-click various elements in the result to display a context menu, then choose Explain Problem to see an explanation, in generic terms, of the error associated with the code.

    • F1 Help: Press F1 to get help for an active dialog box, property page, pane, or window.

Getting Technical Support

If you did not register your Intel software product during installation, please do so now at the Intel® Software Development Products Registration Center. Registration entitles you to free technical support, product updates and upgrades for the duration of the support term.
